Afrocaña, the most important of the festivals, is the union of the concepts "Afro" -a derivative of Africa, of Afro-descendence- and "Caña", which refers to sugarcane and derived products, such as Rum, "or Rei "incontestable of the Afro-Caribbean fiesta. It is more: "Caña", in Spanish, means "a lot of gear", "fun to the fullest" in an Afro-Caribbean environment. AFROCAÑA is the cultural conjunction of all the Africas, the reunion of all the brothers. The big O of AfrOcaña represents the pride of dignity.
